 
This episodes starts with exposition rendered in "old parchment story time." So, once upon a time, there was a peaceful city in the forest...
  
And then they lit on fire and died. No explanation given. If you listen carefully, you can hear the writers saying, "Dude, let's keep them in the dark for a little while longer!"
 
We pick up where we left off: Roan, Hooters, Yuufa, and Sailor Moon on their way to Payon off a tip from Exposition!Baphomet.
But before we get there, we have to see more of Roan's SUPAH FIGHTIN' SKILLZ. Ugh, we had enough of that in the last episode.
 
Also, Takius is still in her dazed state from defying her sugar daddy's wishes, despite being told that she could die and he wouldn't care. Looks like we can't rely on Takius for anything useful now.
So that leaves Roan as the party's main attack force. They're screwed.
  
But that leads to even more blood boiling commands from Roan (which no one wants to listen to). Dammit Roan, just shut up and let that Wanderman slice off your head.
 
Unfortunately, Wandermen in the anime don't have as much Flee as in the game, so Roan is able to slash deep into its shoulder. Yuufa and Maya show off her worthless they are. Especially Maya, who won't do anything this episode either.
  
Things start to look better though! Roan is flat on his back with a sword inches away from his face. I'd make a joke about Roan's position and his swordplay being a euphemism for sex, but I would have to throw myself out a window for that.
Yuufa thinks she can do something, so she Holy Lights the Wanderman. Roan calls her an idiot, because she's an idiot. Wait, he finally understands that? Nah, can't be.
