One thing I must point out is how many times we see the same damn Shield Boomerwang animation. It's pointlessly lengthy (you'll see more of it later) and looks really stupid. And the shield isn't much of a real Boomerwang, since there's a motor attached that propels it.
 
Roan follows up with his strongest attack, GRAND-O CO-ROSS!! A giant cross appears on the ground which sends out blinding fluorescent green and yellow lights. Because when I think of all things holy, I think of the colors of glowing snot.
Emo!Keough, being a entity of DARKNESS, takes critical damage from Roan's attack. This is the first time we hear him scream in pain since his transformation.
 
But because GC has kickback damage, Roan is also hurt from attempting to kill Emo!Keough. Roan also mentions that he doesn't care what happens to him...as long as Yuufa is safe.
I cheer on Roan for once. If he dies and actually kills Emo!Keough, it'd be the best day ever.
 
Emo!Keough announces that he finally recognizes Roan's strength and uh...jumps down the pendulum pit to run away. Since it's dark down there, I'm assuming he has Disappeared Into The Darkness again.
And Yuufa still won't stop calling him NISSAN. Her selective lack of short term memory is getting ridiculous.
With the battle...sort of won, Roan goes over to announce that he is finally strong enough to protect Yuufa. Which he will fail to do when she gets inevitably kidnapped.
Also, two things have changed about Roan since his class change. The first is that his voice actor, aside from when he's screaming in Engrish, doesn't use the "whiny and loud" tone anymore. The second is that he's suddenly grown a lot taller in the passage...of one day.
Judia is needed in a bit, so she shows up out of who-knows-where to be amazed at Roan's new appearance. It'll be about the same reaction from Maya and Takius later, so I pretty much get to watch the same bit of "Roan looks awesome now!" dialogue three times over. Gag.
 
More importantly, Iruga is still bleeding out of his armpit...ever since Episode 2. Come to think of it, Emo!Keough has sliced that area a total of three times now. He plays dirty.
Judia provides the first step of her usual treatment by stuffing his face between her globes. Considering the record of how poorly his wounds heal, I'm starting to think that isn't a very effective cure.
